Maybe like me you watched a lot of television with your children when they were small. Among our favorites were The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Dougie Howser, Seventh Heaven, Family Matters, The Wonder Years and, when my sons were a little older, ER and My So-Called Life.

Even now as adults my sons come by and we watch something together. Last week, for Mother’s Day, we watched Zach Braff’s film Wish I Was Here.
